Katie Burton Sly

Katie Burton Sly is an instructional designer at Ensign College since January 2024, bringing a wealth of experience in education and learning engineering. Previously, as a music teacher at The Piano Place from March 2021 to February 2024, Katie developed engaging lesson plans and empowered young children to prepare for private music lessons while effectively managing classroom dynamics. Prior experience includes an internship at Health Catalyst from May 2019 to March 2022, where Katie collaborated on SQL competency assessments, developed educational games for healthcare professionals, and facilitated interactive learning sessions. Additionally, a brief role as a teaching assistant at Brigham Young University showcased Katie's academic support capabilities. Katie holds a degree in Economics with a focus on Economic Theory from Brigham Young University, completed in 2021.
