Thomas Gaughan has a diverse work experience in various industries. Thomas started their career in 2011 as a Sales Associate at Tommy Hilfiger. Thomas then worked as a Cashier at Billabong from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they joined The Meatball Shop as a Server/Busser and was responsible for opening the UES location and training new employees. From 2016 to 2017, Thomas served as a Server at HMG Hospitality. In 2016, they became a Training Manager at Le Botaniste, where they were responsible for training employees. Thomas worked as a Camp Counselor at Farm & Wilderness Foundation in 2018, focusing on social justice and sustainability. Currently, they work as a Server at THE FAT RADISH LIMITED.

Thomas Gaughan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Music from Hunter College from the years 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Calvert Hall College High School from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Thomas also obtained several certifications. Thomas received Food Handler Cards from the NYC Department of Health in March 2017, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers certification from the American Red Cross in June 2018, and Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid certification, also from the American Red Cross, in June 2018.
