Diksha Singh

Diksha Singh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Diksha started their career as a Research Analyst at the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy in 2010, where they analyzed data and filed stories on state-level trends in industrial growth, infrastructure investments, and energy. Diksha then joined Akshara Centre as a Consultant in 2013, where they evaluated the Mumbai Police's 'Dial 103' helpline, conducting study design, data collation and cleaning, analysis, and writing the final report. In 2014, Diksha joined Praja Foundation as a Project Officer, where they managed the 'Education' and 'Affordable Housing' programmatic verticals, leading data collection, analysis, and outreach activities. Diksha authored two white papers on municipal education and affordable housing in Mumbai. In 2015, they became a Senior Associate at LEAD at Krea University, where they worked until 2017, and later held the role of Policy & Outreach Manager from 2017 to 2019. From 2019 until their current role, Diksha served as the Senior Learning Manager at LEAD, and is currently the Head of Learning & Communications. Additionally, they have served as a board member for The SEEP Network in 2021.

Diksha Singh completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Economics from Sophia College in 2008. Diksha then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A) degree in Economics from the University of Mumbai, which they completed in 2010. Additionally, Diksha attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a Summer School program, specializing in Development Economics.

In terms of additional certifications, Diksha obtained a Certified Digital Marketing Associate certification from the Digital Marketing Institute in May 2022. Diksha also completed the course "14.73x: The Challenges of Global Poverty" offered by MITx (The Massachusetts Institute of Technology through edX) in May 2013. Additionally, Diksha holds a Diplôme d'études en langue française A1 from the Centre international d’études pédagogiques (CIEP), although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
