Derek Sloan

Derek Sloan is an accomplished mental health professional and leadership coach with extensive experience in the field. As the Founder of Abridge Leadership and Derek Counsels, LLC, Derek has been actively involved in providing leadership and mental health services since February 2022. In addition to these roles, Derek serves as a Mental Health Therapist at TimelyCare, delivering licensed mental health services in Kentucky and Florida, and has been a Leadership Coach with Lead Every Day since January 2022. Previously, Derek held the position of Director of the Mental Health Clinic at The Refuge Clinic from January 2018 to June 2022 and worked as a Leadership Coach at Crossroads from January 2008 to December 2017. Derek holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands and two degrees from Kentucky Christian University: a Master of Arts in Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Youth and Family Studies.
