Karen Bowman holds extensive experience in leadership, administration, and community outreach. Currently, Karen serves on the Operations Team at Lead Every Day since April 2024 and as an Administrator at sprk | Sparklight, LLC since December 2023, providing operational support for a lighting design company. As Co-Owner of Shadeland Investments, LLC since 2017, Karen contributes to business operations. Previously, Karen held multiple roles at the University of Kentucky College of Social Work from February 2016 to April 2024, including Assistant Director and Training Specialist, focusing on training and support for professionals working with families and communities. Additionally, Karen has a background in guest services and volunteer coordination at Southland Christian Church and clinical research at the University of Kentucky's Markey Cancer Center. Academically, Karen holds a Master of Science in Human Development and Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology.
