Toni Sorenson, MS, SPHR, CEBS, CMS

Toni Sorenson, MS, SPHR, CEBS, CMS has worked in the Human Resources field since 1998. From 1998-2000, they were the Manager of Retirement and Cafeteria Services at RPS Plan Administrators. During this time, they managed a staff of 12 employees and converted pension plans from Omni to Relius. Toni also conducted quality reviews of pension and cafeteria reporting.

From 2000-2001, Sorenson worked as an Implementation Manager at Fiserv ISS. Toni was responsible for implementing pension plans onto the new IFlex daily valuation platform, as well as reviewing quarterly and annual work plans for administrators. Toni also created the Plan Administrator Handbook for the IFlex product.

From 2000-2015, Sorenson was the Owner of All American RV, a business specializing in storage, repair, and rental of Recreation Vehicles, as well as part stores and fleet trailer repair.

In 2015, Sorenson worked as an HR Project Manager for Corporate Wellness Consultant.

Since 2016, Sorenson has been an HR Consultant at Employers Council. In this role, they have been responsible for training on Benefits A-Z, Succession Planning, Workforce Planning, Business Essentials, Performance Management, Financial Acumen and Project Management for the Business Partner Program. Toni has also consulted members on Business Strategy, Executive Recruiting, HR Innovations, Benefits, Employment Law and Changes, Performance Management, ACA, Worker's Compensation, Employee Handbooks, Compensation, ERISA, FMLA, ADA, HR Operations, Wellness, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, Onboarding, and Payroll. Additionally, they have managed the two prep programs; HRCI PHR/SPHR and SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, and written Bulletins and Hot Topics. Toni is currently a Senior Human Resources Consultant in this role.

Toni Sorenson holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership with an HR Emphasis from CSU Global, which they obtained between 2011 and 2013. Toni also holds a BS in Professional Accounting from Regis University, which they obtained between 1989 and 1992. In addition, they hold certifications from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP), and the Corporate Health and Wellness Organization. These certifications include Senior Professional in Human Resource, CEBS, and Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist, respectively.
