Semhar Ghilwet

Semhar Ghilwet, M.Ed., is an experienced professional in talent acquisition and education. Currently serving as Talent Acquisition Manager and formerly as Talent Acquisition Coordinator at LEAD Public Schools since March 2021, Semhar has also held roles as Regional Recruiter and Staffing Recruiter at HealthTrust Workforce Solutions from August 2019 to April 2021. Prior to these positions, Semhar worked as a 5th grade ELA teacher and 6th grade ELA teacher at LEAD Public Schools from April 2014 to May 2019, along with a role as Summer School Teacher. Additionally, Semhar served as a Refugee Youth Program Assistant at Catholic Charities of Tennessee, Inc. Semhar holds a Master of Education in Organizational Leadership and Communication from Belmont University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky University.
