Susana Frago

Susana Frago is a highly experienced researcher in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology, currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Leadartis since May 2022. Prior to this role, Susana worked at the CNIO - Spanish National Cancer Research Centre from September 2016 to April 2022 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow, focusing on melanoma metastasis and the characterization of melanoma-secreted factors. Susana's earlier experience includes a Research Associate position at the University of Oxford, where the pre-clinical development of a ligand trap for cancer therapy was undertaken. Susana's academic journey began at the University of Zaragoza, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, complemented by a Master's degree and dual Bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry.
