Leader Dogs for the Blind
Lauren Wetzel is a veterinary assistant and breeding and puppy care attendant at Leader Dogs for the Blind. Lauren also works as a horticulturist, home gardener, and environmentalist for their self-employed business. With a Bachelor's degree in Zoology/Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology from Michigan State University, Lauren has a diverse background in roles such as head lifeguard/swim instructor, manager-in-training, senior coordinator of lifeguards and safety, clinical assistant, guest service representative, shift supervisor, and environmental education intern. Lauren also has experience as a counselor at Camp Walden and an umpire at Rochester Avon Recreation Authority.
