John Portch

John Portch is an accomplished sports journalist and editor with extensive experience in the sports media sector. Currently serving as Editor and Lead Writer at Leaders in Sport since July 2015, John focuses on advancing the global performance community in sports through innovative events, research, and professional development. Prior to this role, John contributed to The Voice Newspaper as a sports journalist for over fifteen years, producing profiles, match reports, and features. Additional experience includes working as a sports reporter for Global Sport in Colour, a brief stint as a sports writer for the Daily Mirror, and collaborating with Rodney Hinds as a researcher for the publication 'Usain Bolt: Life in the Fast Lane.' An early career position involved sub-editing at indigo magazine. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies: Journalism from the University of Westminster.
