Gbenga Adeyemi

SIP Fellow at LEAP Africa

Gbenga Adeyemi is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in agriculture and education. Currently serving as a SIP fellow at LEAP Africa since October 2020, Gbenga is a graduate of the social innovators programme. As the founder of Agribility Nigeria and NUTRIDREN AGRICULTURE CONCEPT since January 2019, Gbenga focuses on integrating sustainability into agricultural programs to empower individuals and promote leadership toward achieving Sustainable Development Goals 2, 4, and 13. Previous roles include Agric. Extension Advisor at NPOWER Ng and a volunteer with Grooming Leaders for Agriculture, both aimed at addressing hunger. Gbenga has also contributed to academia as a volunteer field tutor and served as the President of the Students' Chapter of the Geophysical Society at Adekunle Ajasin University, enhancing the involvement of over 100 geoscience students in various scientific disciplines. Gbenga holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Adekunle Ajasin University, earned between 2007 and 2011.
