Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America
Havina Basil is a dedicated nursing student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University. With extensive internship experience, Havina served as a Student Nurse Intern at Mount Sinai Health System in the Labor & Delivery Unit, where care delivery and newborn care were key responsibilities. Additional involvement includes being a LEDA Scholar with Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America, a Volunteer at Toco Hills Community Alliance, and a Community Educator and Apprentice at Rocking The Boat Inc., where environmental projects were a focus. Early experiences also include roles at Hollister Co. as a Stock Associate and participation in STEM workshops through the World Science Festival and Upward Bound at Columbia University.
