John Nguyen

John Nguyen is an accomplished student and writer currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English at Yale University, expected to graduate in 2024. Nguyen has accumulated diverse experience in journalism and editing, serving as a Features Reporting Intern at Star Tribune and as an Associate Editor at The New Journal. Additional roles include internships at Copper Canyon Press and editorial fellow at Midstory, alongside contributions as a reader for The Yale Review. Previous endeavors include writing partnership at the Yale Writing Center and roles at NCXT and Barnes & Noble, Inc. Nguyen has also been recognized as a LEDA Scholar and served as a staffer at the Yale University Office of LGBTQ Resources, demonstrating a commitment to both literary pursuits and community engagement. Achievements in high school include graduating as valedictorian from Harding Senior High School.
