Keidy Palma Ramirez is a dedicated research assistant at Brown University in the American Studies and Population Studies Department, collaborating with Dr. Kevin Escudero to address policy barriers faced by undocumented students in workforce transition. Additionally, Keidy serves as a Meiklejohn Peer Advisor and a Peer Counselor for the Undocumented, First-Generation College, and Low-Income (U-FLi) center, focusing on enhancing the academic and social experiences of first-year U-FLi students. Involvement extends to the Bonner Community Fellowship at The Swearer Center, where Keidy advocates for social justice through civic engagement and supports refugee youth as a tutor. Keidy is also a Scholar and College Guidance Assistant with Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America, and will undertake an internship with Congresswoman Veronica Escobar in the U.S. House of Representatives. Currently pursuing a degree at Brown University, Keidy's educational journey began with the International Baccalaureate and El Dorado High School.
