Zahra Wakilzada is a dedicated professional and emerging leader with extensive experience in academia, translation, and advocacy. Currently serving as a Paul F. Pelosi Scholar at Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service, Zahra has held various significant roles, including Carroll Fellow, LEDA Career Fellow, and English and Persian Translator for Free Women Writers. Notable contributions include managing the Social Innovation and Public Service Fund, editing for Bossier Magazine, and facilitating discussions as a Sexual Assault Peer Educators Fellow. Zahra has also gained recognition as a researcher focused on women's rights in conflict zones and participated as a PPIA Fellow at Princeton University. In addition to academic pursuits, Zahra has held multiple leadership positions within the Georgetown University Student Association, advocating for diversity, inclusion, and the socioeconomic concerns of the student body. Zahra Wakilzada graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in International Politics from Georgetown University.
