Leadership for Educational Equity
Namrata Patel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2021, they became the Vice President of Marketing Communications at Leadership for Educational Equity. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2021, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Boston College.
From 2012 to 2021, Namrata worked at City Year, starting as the Senior Director of Digital Marketing and progressing to become the Vice President of Digital Marketing. Namrata was responsible for overseeing digital marketing strategies and AmeriCorps member recruitment efforts.
Before joining City Year, Namrata worked as an independent Senior Strategist at HotSpringNYC from 2010 to 2011, where they spearheaded brand positioning projects in various sectors such as publishing, media, healthcare, and travel.
Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Marketing Consultant from 2008 to 2010, collaborating with High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid, NY, to develop and implement marketing strategies.
From 2005 to 2008, Namrata served as the Director of Marketing at Red Lion Hotels, where they successfully increased market share and revenue from loyalty program members.
Earlier in their career, they worked at Wyndham Worldwide from 2003 to 2005 as a Learning and Development Coach, conducting training seminars and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Namrata also gained teaching experience as a Lecturer at Emerson College from 2001 to 2003.
Lastly, Namrata worked as a Marketing Communication Consultant from 2001 to 2003, leading the launch of a hotel brand conversion and organizing community service initiatives.
Namrata Patel's education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled in Rowan University. Namrata pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising & Communication and completed their studies in 1993.
After a significant gap in their education, Namrata resumed their academic journey in 2000 by attending Emerson College. Namrata pursued a Master of Arts degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and successfully completed their studies in 2001.
Overall, Namrata Patel's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Advertising & Communication from Rowan University and a Master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Emerson College.
