Nora Antoine, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 1998, they served as the Department Chair and Faculty at Sinte Gleska University for seventeen years. In this role, they effectively managed the daily operations of the Business Management department, developed and taught B.A. level courses, designed and implemented new courses, provided guidance and support to students, and played a vital role in curriculum development and assessment. Nora also demonstrated their expertise in grants processes while leading and monitoring them. In 2014, they briefly worked as an External Evaluator for the American Indian College Fund. Currently, Nora holds the position of South Dakota Director at Leadership for Educational Equity, a role they have been occupying since 2015.
Nora Antoine, PhD, has an extensive education history. Nora started their academic journey in 1986 at the University of South Dakota, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General. After a few years, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Lakota Leadership & Management from Oglala Lakota College, graduating in 1994.
Nora's pursuit of knowledge did not end there. Nora aimed for a higher level of education and enrolled in the Antioch University New England and Antioch University-PhD Program in Leadership and Change simultaneously in 2009. Nora invested four years in these programs, which culminated in their achievement of a PhD degree in Leadership & Change from Antioch University.
It is clear that Nora Antoine is highly dedicated to their studies and has obtained multiple degrees over the years, demonstrating their commitment to personal and professional growth in the field of leadership and change.

Leadership for Educational Equity
LEE is a diverse network of equity-minded leaders at all stages of life and career. By providing 1:1 coaching, meaningful member-to-member connections, and skill-building opportunities, we help our network members do the work needed to ensure an equitable education for children everywhere – whether that’s organizing within their local communities, exploring careers in policy and advocacy, or pursuing elected office. LEE is a free membership organization currently open to alumni of several partner organizations including Teach For America, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), New Leaders, Latinos for Education, Urban Teachers, Public Allies, and School Board Partners. LEE believes that when a diverse group of leaders, grounded in a commitment to equity, are in leadership roles, they will serve as a transformative force for and with students and communities. We are an outcomes-oriented organization that operates in an entrepreneurial environment deeply invested in continuous improvement. LEE is honored to have been selected as a LATINA Style 50 Award recipient and a When Work Works award recipient. We are also an Employer of National Service.
