Freida Mitchell

Freida Mitchell currently serves as the Alumni Engagement Director at Leadership Winston-Salem, leading event management and audience engagement initiatives. Previously, Freida held the position of Event Manager at Reynolda House Museum of American Art and served as Director of Sales at CN Hotels, Inc. overseeing the Hampton Inn Downtown in Winston-Salem. Additional experience includes roles as Director of Sales and Marketing at Best Western PLUS University Inn and Sales Manager at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, where Freida specialized in sales and client relationship management. Freida’s earlier roles included Senior Catering Sales Manager at Hotel Palomar and Catering Assistant at The Peninsula Chicago. Freida holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication and African American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a degree in Professional Baking and Pastry from The Art Institutes.
