Kennedy Schultz has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. They started their career as an Adjunct Professor at the University at Buffalo in 2000 and continued in this role until 2007. In 2008, they became an Assistant Professor at Canisius College for a year before transitioning to SUNY Brockport as a Lecturer from 2009 to 2010.
In 2010, Kennedy founded Explor-A-World LLC, where they developed integrated curriculum tools for teaching world languages and cultures to children. They were also responsible for designing and implementing cultural education programs for non-profit and for-profit organizations. Kennedy held the role of Founder and Director at Explor-A-World LLC until 2018.
During their time at Explor-A-World LLC, Kennedy also took on various leadership roles. From 2017 to 2019, they served as Co-President of Alliance Française de Buffalo.
In 2014, Kennedy joined The Park School of Buffalo as a French Teacher. In addition to developing curriculum and instructing French classes for students in grades K-12, they coordinated a bi-annual French student exchange program and served as the World Language Department Coordinator. In 2018, Kennedy took on the role of Director of Studies at The Park School, where they were responsible for managing K-12 curricular scope and sequence and faculty development. They also led the school's transition to remote learning during the pandemic and accomplished various initiatives, such as integrating the Kadimah Scholars program into the curriculum and redesigning professional learning opportunities.
In 2020, Kennedy joined BetterLesson as an Instructional Coach and Professional Learning Facilitator. In this role, they coached teachers and leaders in best instructional practices and guided essential conversations about diversity, equity, and inclusion in school settings. They specialized in Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning and Systemic Racism workshops.
Throughout 2021, Kennedy has been actively involved in several organizations. They worked as an Associate at DiversiPro Inc., assuming responsibilities related to their expertise and contributing to the organization. They also served as the Head of Learning and Development at Leadership For Execs, taking a leadership role in developing and implementing learning programs for executives. Currently, Kennedy is working as a Principal Consultant at KMS Intercultural Education.

Kennedy Schultz obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Cultural Area Studies from The College of Wooster, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. They went on to pursue further education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a Master of Arts degree and a Ph.D. in French Literature during the period of 1994 to 2000. In terms of additional certifications, Kennedy Schultz obtained a CQ Certified Facilitator certification from the Cultural Intelligence Center in November 2021, a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021, and an IDI Qualified Administrator certification from IDI, LLC in December 2020.
