Beatrize Perez, MSW, is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in social work and leadership in family and children's services. Currently serving as a LeadStrong Fellow at LeaderSpring Center, Beatrize focuses on empowering women of color for social justice and racial equity. Previously, Beatrize held roles at Safe & Sound, including Associate Director of Children and Family Services and Senior Program Manager for Care Coordination, where responsibilities included developing integrated family support services. Beatrize has also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Chicago, and interned at the UIC Institute on Disability and Human Development and Children's Home + Aid Society of Illinois, providing therapeutic services and case management. Beatrize earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
