Leading Educators
Nicholas Cains has a diverse work experience. Nicholas started their career as a Head Waiter/Trainer at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen in 2007 and worked there until 2012. In 2012, they became a 5th and 6th Grade Science Teacher at KIPP: Tulsa College Preparatory School for a few months before transitioning to Teach For America. At Teach For America, they held several roles, including 2nd Grade teacher, Teacher Leadership Development Coach, Teacher Educator Facilitator, and Manager of Teacher Leadership Development. From 2018, Nicholas Cains joined Leading Educators as an Instructional Leadership Coach and later became the Director of Adult Learning in 2023.
Nicholas Cains completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater at Southern Methodist University, with a study period from 2007 to 2011. Nicholas also obtained a certification in Elementary Education (1st-6th) from the Oklahoma State Department of Education, but the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
