Burt oversees their Operations & New Business Development Team manages the operational aspects of the Association for effectiveness and efficiency to facilitate a high level of service and value to LeadingAge’s members. He works to ensure that the Association has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, governance structure, information technology and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. He identifies and develops new areas of growth in non-dues revenue, including business opportunities, corporate sponsorship, partnerships and new member services, assessing feasibility, testing ideas and creating business plans. He also monitors key operations including fundraising, corporate compliance, association and business insurance coverage.
