Heather M Briere

Heather M Briere is an experienced leader in the arts education sector, currently serving as the Director of Learning and Leadership Programs at the League of American Orchestras. Since January 2022, Heather has led key regranting programs, developed curriculum content, and facilitated peer-learning series to foster innovation and engagement within orchestras. Prior roles include the Manager of School Programs at the New York Philharmonic, where Heather effectively oversaw programs that served thousands of students and teachers, and various positions at Carnegie Hall, focusing on family and community programs. Heather holds a Master's degree in Music Composition from New York University and a Bachelor of Music in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music.
