Anitra Coulter Blunt

Anitra Coulter Blunt is an experienced music director and voice instructor with a diverse background in performance and education. Currently serving as the Music Director and Instructor at TheTheatreWorks @ TheDanceWorks since August 2017, Anitra also teaches private voice lessons and clinicians at Leander ISD since August 2015. As the Owner and Director of Heartsong Family Enrichment and Performance Arts since May 2014, Anitra provides a range of musical instruction and support. With a long-standing career as a Lyric Coloratura specializing in Opera, Musical Theatre, Classical Art Song, and Jazz, Anitra advocates for those with special needs by organizing benefit concerts to raise awareness and provide holistic support for families. Previously, Anitra worked as an Office Administrator at LeadingEdge Personnel from June 2015 to September 2017. Anitra holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice/Opera from The University of Texas at Austin and is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Voice Performance Pedagogy from the same institution.
