Melinda Smith

Melinda Smith is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in both teaching and business development. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Leander ISD since December 2021, Melinda previously held the position of Business Development Manager at Lightbox Learning, where innovative classroom instruction solutions were promoted. As Director of Business Development at Rosen Classroom, Melinda launched adaptive reading platforms, and earlier at Leander ISD, served as an Elementary Educator. Melinda's career also includes significant roles at KinderCare Education, Edmentum, and a long tenure at Edmentum where Melinda consistently exceeded sales quotas and contributed to educational transformation. Melinda holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism-Advertising/Graphic Design from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
