Pete Pape

Pete Pape currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Leander Independent School District since October 2022. Prior experience includes positions as Assistant Superintendent at Mesquite Independent School District from June 2020 to October 2022 and as Assistant Superintendent for Business Services at Deer Park Independent School District from May 2013 to June 2020. Additional roles encompass serving as CFO at Goose Creek CISD, Executive Director of Business Services at Sealy ISD, Business Services Manager at ESC 12, and Senior Director of Business & Finance at Grape Creek ISD. Pete began a career in finance with roles as a Staff Accountant & Network Administrator at Lone Star Beef and as a Financial Analyst at Shannon Health System. Pete Pape is pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Administration at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, expected to be completed in May 2024, and holds a BBA/MBA in Accounting from Angelo State University.
