Amanda Sparks has a long history of professional experience. Amanda began their career as a Mathematics Teacher in various school systems in 1998. In 2011, they became the Director of Youth Programs at YMCA. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Delhaize America as a Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst and Supply Chain Analyst. During this time, they built a new relationship between marketing and strategic sourcing, resulting in 10% operating expenses savings following renegotiations of all major contracts. Amanda also innovated the strategic sourcing process for application in marketing business and built a supply chain channel for private brand frozen fish program. In 2015, they became the Media Manager at Food Lion, where they built media channels for the future in grocery retail and managed media planning and budget management based on business intelligence. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Amazon as a Financial and Business Analytics, Global Category Manager, and Sr. Financial Analyst. During this time, they were responsible for making bold bets and inventing on behalf of customers. In 2021, they became the Principal Consultant at Zizanion Financial, where they solved problems for businesses of all sizes. Currently, they are the Director of Revenue Operations at LeanDNA, where they solve the execution gap by bridging together data from ERP, MRP, etc. and providing actionable insights and workflows for manufacturing environments.

Amanda Sparks attended Meredith College from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. Amanda then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration - MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2016 to 2018.
