Dejan Sraka

Dejan Sraka has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dejan is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at LeanIX, where they mentor engineering managers, improves processes, and leads architectural and security initiatives. Prior to this, they were a Senior Engineering Manager at LeanIX, where they grew teams, enabled engineers to become managers, and worked on process improvements and cross-team collaborations.

Before joining LeanIX, Dejan worked at Cleanshelf as the Head of Engineering, Tools & Automation, leading a team and actively participating in design and architecture challenges. Dejan also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Cleanshelf, where they worked on backend services and integration implementations.

Dejan has also had entrepreneurial experience as the Owner and Founder of Amazing Nexus LLC, an inbound marketing agency. Dejan led the agency's services aligned with the inbound marketing methodology.

Earlier in their career, Dejan worked at Sportradar AG as a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead & Team Lead, where they led the development of the RGS system and integration of Virtual Sports. Dejan also took on additional responsibilities as a project manager, product owner, solution architect, and DevOps engineer.

Dejan's earlier experiences include working as a Research Assistant at Univerza v Ljubljani, Faculty of Education, and as a Senior System Administrator and Computer Technical Specialist at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Education.

Throughout their career, Dejan has demonstrated expertise in mentoring, team leadership, process improvement, architecture design, and implementing innovative solutions. Dejan is also experienced in working with various programming languages and technologies.

Dejan Sraka graduated from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Education in 2009, obtaining a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Dejan also pursued a PhD at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Computer and Information Science. In addition to their formal education, Dejan Sraka has acquired various certifications in areas such as team building, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, sales, marketing, and Google Ads.
