Brandi Spates

Brandi Spates is a Board Member at LEANLAB Education. Prior to their current position, Ms. Spates was an Associate at Dysart Taylor Cotter McMonigle & Montemore, P.C., where they focused on employment litigation and counseling. Ms. Spates has also worked as a Student Researcher at Barnhill & Morse, P.A., a Student Intern at the Paul E. Wilson Project for Innocence & Post-Conviction Remedies Clinic, and a Summer Associate at Armstrong Teasdale LLP. Additionally, Ms. Spates served as a Faculty Research Assistant at the University of Kansas School of Law from September 2017 to June 2019.

Brandi Spates has a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law. Brandi is currently a Juris Doctor Candidate at the University of Houston Law Center. Brandi holds a Master of Arts in Educational Administration with an emphasis in Higher Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from the University of Northern Iowa. Brandi has also received certification in Advocacy Skills from the University of Kansas School of Law.
