Shawn Melvin

Shawn Melvin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Shawn most recently worked as a Sr. Manager of Client Services at LeanTaaS starting in February 2023.

Prior to that, Shawn held various roles at Hospital IQ from 2017 to 2021. Shawn was the Director of Solution Design from June 2021 to February 2023, and before that, they served as the Director of Product Management from September 2017 to June 2021.

Before joining Hospital IQ, Shawn worked at TeleTracking Technologies, Inc. from 2004 to 2017. During their time there, they held several positions including Product Portfolio Manager from September 2015 to August 2017, Product Manager from April 2013 to September 2015, Senior Business Intelligence Analyst from January 2012 to April 2013, Business Intelligence Analyst from October 2010 to January 2012, Quality Engineer II from December 2008 to October 2010, Senior Engineer from December 2007 to December 2008, Technical Support Team Leader from July 2006 to December 2007, and Technical Support Engineer from May 2004 to July 2006.

Prior to working at TeleTracking Technologies, Shawn worked as a Technical Consultant at LayerSeven Consulting from February 2003 to April 2004.

Shawn also gained experience in the education sector, working at Rochester Area School District as the Director of the Beaver County Community Technology Center from June 2002 to February 2003, and as a Network Technician from January 2002 to June 2002.

Shawn's early career included a role as an Aircraft Records Administrator at US Airways from January 2001 to December 2001, and as a Copy Editor at Butler Eagle from January 2000 to January 2001.

Shawn Melvin completed their M.S. in Information Systems from Robert Morris University in 2002-2003. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Point Park University in the years 1997-1999. In addition to their degrees, they obtained their Pragmatic Marketing PMC-III product manager certification from Pragmatic Marketing in June 2015.
