Joe Seymour

Joe Seymour has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Joe is currently working at Ultraleap as the Engineering Director for Automotive. In this role, they manage the software platform teams and provides technical leadership for projects integrating hand tracking into innovative products.

Prior to Ultraleap, Joe worked at Ultrahaptics as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were involved in enabling mid-air haptics and served as the scrum master for a cross-functional development team. Joe also worked at SOMNIUM Technologies as the Vice President of Product Engineering, leading key projects and building the product engineering capability from scratch.

Earlier in their career, Joe was a Software Engineer at Mentor Graphics, delivering software services to major technology companies. Joe began their career as an Intern in the SDK Team at Icera Semiconductor Inc. Overall, Joe has a strong background in engineering, software development, and leadership roles.

Joe Seymour attended the University of Bristol from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
