Ying Zhang

Ying Zhang has extensive work experience in the field of biostatistics. Ying currently holds the position of Vice President, Biomedical Operations and Head of Biometrics at Leap Therapeutics since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the President and Biometrics Consultant at JLY Consulting from August 2022. From 2020 to 2022, they served as Sr. Director, Late Development Biostatistics in Oncology at Merck. Ying also held various positions at MSD China, starting as Director/Sr. Director in Biostatistics from 2016 to 2019. Before that, they worked at Merck as a Biometrician, eventually becoming a Principal Scientist, Biostatistics from 2008 to 2016. Ying Zhang began their career as a Senior Biostatistician at Pfizer in 2004 and also had a brief role as a Statistics Co-op at GlaxoSmithKline. Ying has a teaching background as well, having worked as a Teaching Assistant at Temple University from 2001 to 2003.

Ying Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Temple University, as well as an M.E. in Management Science and Engineering, a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature, all from Tianjin University.
