Docent-volunteer at Maritime Museum of San Diego

Herb Bellucci is an experienced executive and educator in the biomedical device industry with a strong background in manufacturing and operations. Currently serving as a docent-volunteer at the Maritime Museum of San Diego since February 2022, Herb has previously contributed to academia as a lecturer for the Biomedical Engineering program at San Jose State University from August 2017 to December 2022, developing a course on biomedical device manufacturing. Herb's career includes leadership roles as President & CEO at Pulse Systems, and Vice President at Alphatec Spine, Digirad, and Omnicell, where significant advancements in manufacturing capabilities and revenue growth were achieved. Notable earlier positions include Senior Vice President of Operations at Laserscope and various management roles at Spectra Physics and MARC Analysis Research. Herb holds an MBA from Stanford University and a B.S. in Engineering from Brown University.
