George Vareldzis has extensive work experience in finance and technology roles. George currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Leapfrog Brands since 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Outward Hound from 2013 to 2022. Before that, they worked as the VP Finance, Technology at Presilient, LLC from 2005 to 2013, and as the VP, Finance at Nextira One from 2003 to 2005. From 1998 to 2003, they served as the Executive Director of Finance, Technology at XO Communications, and from 1993 to 1997, as the Director of Finance, Technology at MFS Communications. George started their career as an Audit Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick from 1982 to 1989.
George Vareldzis attended the NYU Stern School of Business from 1982 to 1983, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting. Prior to that, they studied at Stanford University from 1978 to 1982, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. Additionally, they attended Sunset High School, although the specific dates and degrees obtained from there are unknown.
