As General Counsel, Frances is responsible for all aspects of LeapFrog’s legal functions across its 8 offices and 21 portfolio companies.

Frances has more than 20 years of diverse high-level legal experience. As General Counsel at Kazimir Partners, an asset manager focused on emerging markets, she drove complex deal structuring and cross-border mergers and acquisitions in emerging markets including Africa and Asia. She also structured substantial new funds. Prior to that, she was a specialist mergers and acquisitions leader at Slaughter and May, a top-tier global law firm leading large-scale transactions for the public and private sectors.

Frances holds a BA in Oriental Studies from Oxford University, where she was also awarded a travelling fellowship to the United Nations Sub-Commission on Human Rights in Geneva, and a Post-graduate diploma in Law and Legal Practice from Nottingham Law School. She is fluent in Japanese, Russian and French.
