Gyan Deep

Gyan Deep has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Gyan started their career at Qualcomm as an intern in the Graphics Team in January 2017. After completing their internship, they were hired as an Engineer in the same team and worked on correlation and performance modeling of the existing GPU Model. Gyan then moved on to become a Senior Engineer at Qualcomm in November 2020, where they continued to work on correlation and development of a new performance model for GPUs. In 2021, Gyan joined AMD as a Senior Engineer and held that position until April 2022. Currently, they are working as a Staff Engineer at LeapFrog Semiconductor, Inc.

Gyan Deep completed their Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Communication and Signal Processing from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they achieved their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, USICT, during the years 2011 to 2015. Gyan Deep also attended Kulachi Hansraj Model School in India from 2010 to 2011 for their Class 11-12 education, majoring in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. Their foundational education took place at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar, where they completed their Class 5 to 10 education following the CBSE curriculum.

Moreover, Gyan Deep has acquired several additional certifications. They completed the Mathematics for Machine Learning Specialization, covering topics such as Linear Algebra, Multivariate Calculus, and PCA. These certifications were obtained from Coursera, with the Multivariate Calculus certification received in October 2019, Linear Algebra certification in July 2019, and PCA and Mathematics for Machine Learning Specialization certifications earned in May 2020. Gyan Deep also obtained certifications in Discrete Time Signals and Systems from MITx ELEC301x and RiceX ELEC301x from edX, in September and May 2014, respectively. Lastly, Gyan Deep achieved the Software as a Service certification from BerkeleyX CS169.1x in August 2012.
