Jorge Francisco Perez Appel

Jorge Francisco Perez Appel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering across multiple sectors, including automotive and electronic systems. Currently serving as Manager of Program Management at Lear Corporation since August 2017, Jorge oversees project acquisition phases and acts as the primary contact for OEM clients. Previously, as Team Leader at Bosch, responsibility included leading a team of ten project and process engineers in the manufacturing and testing development of wiper systems on a global scale. Additional roles include Project Manager for Brose Group, where oversight of customer projects for major automotive brands such as Jaguar, Land Rover, and Ford was paramount. Prior engineering positions involved work at Daimler AG, Alten, Carl Zeiss Vision, Bosch, and ABB, demonstrating a strong foundation in design, development, and project execution. Jorge holds a Master of Science degree in Sensor System Technology from Universidad Técnica de Karlsruhe and an Engineer's degree in electronic and automatic control from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria.
