Nafisa Tabassum

Nafisa Tabassum is an experienced academic professional currently serving as an Academic Intervention Teacher at Learn It Academic Services since January 2024. Nafisa has held the position of Program Manager at BCT Brooklyn Children's Theatre since December 2021, where responsibilities include strategizing and developing programs that align with the organization's mission while managing a team of educators. Previous roles include Student Teacher at The Brooklyn New School and various positions at GO Project, focusing on literacy intervention for elementary students. Additionally, Nafisa worked as a Group Leader at South Asian Youth Action (SAYA), planning and executing programs for youth engagement. Early experience includes roles as an Oasis Chaperone and Tutor, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education and General Psychology from Hunter College.
