Riya Ratkalkar

Riya Ratkalkar is an undergraduate research fellow at The University of Georgia, currently working on projects related to drug screening and neurodegenerative diseases. Riya also serves as a Service Ambassador at ServeUGA, coordinating service events and promoting volunteer engagement. Riya has experience as a summer undergraduate intern at Winship Cancer Institute, where Riya assisted with patient care, as well as founding Bracelets for a Cause, a fundraiser to support BLM protesters. Additionally, Riya is a student tutor at Learn To Be, co-founder of The Unity Project, and a former researcher at MentalHealthIO.
