Adam Kurtz

Adam Kurtz, CSM has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to the present. Adam started as a Graphic Design Intern at Arizona Daily Sun, followed by a role as a Graphic Designer at Digital City. Adam then worked as a Design Intern at Trike Creative before becoming a Freelance Graphic Designer at R.E. Advertising. Later, they joined The Sierra Vista Herald as a Graphic Designer and was eventually promoted to Composing Supervisor, where they managed the composing department and analyzed ad tracking data. Adam then moved to Territorial Newspapers as an Art Director, overseeing graphic designers and collaborating with editors. At Wick Communications, they served as the Central Design Operations Manager, communicating and delivering on creative design expectations. Most recently, they worked at Learning A-Z, starting as a Production and Design Manager and moving up to Senior Project Manager. In this role, they coordinated and oversaw various aspects of projects for the Enterprise PMO, emphasizing product development and ensuring timely and quality deliverables. Throughout their career, Adam has demonstrated skills in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication.

Adam Kurtz, CSM, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from Northern Arizona University. Their field of study during their time at the university was Visual Communication with an emphasis in Graphic Design. In addition to their degree, Adam has obtained several certifications, including the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. This certification was acquired in June 2022. Furthermore, they have obtained the Basic Reporting in Jira Badge and Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian in April 2023.
