Laura Christine Dent

Laura Christine Dent is an accomplished editor and writing coach with a diverse background in education and writing. Since 2017, Laura has been with The Durango Wordsmith, guiding writers through coaching and editing processes. Concurrently, Laura serves as an editor and writing coach at My Word Publishing and has held positions as a content writer at TME Communications and Digital Image Group Denver SEO & Web Design, along with a VAZ writer/editor role at Learning A-Z. Previously, Laura contributed to Playworks as a copywriter and copy editor, enhancing marketing content. With a rich teaching background, Laura has mentored future educators, established a dual-language program, and facilitated instruction for adult learners. Laura holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Education from Northern Arizona University, along with several relevant certifications.
