Kevin Barton is an experienced education professional currently serving as Chair of Learning Community Trust since September 2024 and as an International Education Consultant at Saling House Consulting since June 2016. With a background as Executive Head of Achievement at Youth Sport Trust and roles at the University of Exeter as a visiting fellow, Kevin has demonstrated expertise in developing individual and team performance, coaching senior leaders, and building partnerships across sectors. Additional positions include Corporation Board Member at Telford College and National Curriculum Adviser at QCDA. An author and dynamic speaker, Kevin holds a PCGE in Secondary Education from the University of Exeter and a degree from Bangor University.

Learning Community Trust
We are proud that our MAT spans education from 2-year-olds in our nurseries through to 25year-olds within our specialist settings. We are currently made up of 5 primary schools, 3 secondary schools and 3 specialist settings and we believe in providing education for the whole community in the areas where we operate. In line with our vision, we have established a great partnership with Telford College and work with them on post-16 transition and curriculum, ensuring our students have clear progression pathways.
