Emma Barrett-Peel's work experience includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Learning Curve Group since October 2022, and previously as the Director of Apprenticeships. Before that, they worked at Ofsted as an HMI for Further Education and Skills from August 2019 to February 2022. Emma also held positions as the Head of Employability Development at PeoplePlus UK from March 2019 to August 2019, and as the Head of Apprenticeships & Skills at Working Links from February 2018 to February 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Vocational Training and the Director of Apprenticeships and Skills at Catch22 from April 2015 to February 2018. Emma's earliest work experience includes roles at LOOKFANTASTIC TRAINING LIMITED, where they served as the Head of Quality from August 2009 to April 2015, Quality Manager from November 2007 to August 2009, and Assessor/Internal Verifier from April 2006 to November 2007.
Emma Barrett-Peel has a Certificate in Education from the University of Portsmouth, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Emma also has a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management from ILM, completed in 2017 to 2018. Additionally, Emma has obtained other certifications, such as the V1 - Internal Verifiers Qualification from City and Guilds in 2007 to 2008, and the A1 - Assessor Qualification from the same institution in 2006 to 2007. Emma is currently pursuing the Excellence Programme - Management Development Course for Private Equity Backed Executives from PepTalks, with completion expected in 2023.
