Matt Spence

Matt Spence serves as the Executive Director of Learning Independence for Tomorrow since June 2024, following a notable tenure as Chief Strategy Officer at Feeding Tampa Bay from May 2018 to June 2024, where efforts focused on addressing hunger, health, and poverty through social enterprise solutions. Prior roles include Vice President of Community Impact at the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay, where leadership was provided for strategic philanthropy, and Director of Planning and Development at the Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas County, emphasizing strategic planning and community outreach. Earlier experiences encompass roles at the Juvenile Welfare Board, Ascension Catholic Church, and St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, alongside academic qualifications from Florida State University, The University of Texas at Austin, and the University of Notre Dame, including degrees in Political Science and Education Policy.
