Tara Klein

Tara Klein, PHR has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Tara currently serves as the Human Resources Director at The Learning Lamp, where they oversee various HR functions such as compensation, benefits, employee relations, payroll, compliance, training, and talent management. Prior to this role, they worked as the Human Resources Coordinator at the same company, where they focused on recruiting and onboarding for all positions within the organization. Before that, Tara was a Staffing Specialist at The Learning Lamp & Ignite Education Solutions, responsible for recruitment, onboarding, clearances, and managing substitute teachers. Tara has also held positions at JT Photo Designs as an Owner/Designer, The Sargent's Group as an Office Manager, Scheduling Manager, and Legal Transcriptionist, and TNT Gymnastics as a Cheerleading & Gymnastics Instructor/Coordinator. Tara's earlier work experience includes a role as a Guest Service Representative at Holiday Inn Express. Throughout their career, Tara has gained expertise in various areas such as HR management, recruitment, onboarding, training, policy development, and graphic design.

Tara Klein, PHR, has a Master of Professional Studies degree in Human Resources and Employee Relations, which they obtained from Penn State University from 2023 to 2025. Prior to their master's degree, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General, and another Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General, from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown from 2008 to 2012. Tara's education history also includes their completion of General Studies at Richland High School from 1996 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Tara has obtained several certifications. Tara holds a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, which they obtained in May 2021. Tara is also a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certified by HRCI, which they achieved in June 2020. Furthermore, they hold the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI, which they obtained in the same month and year as their PHR certification.
