David MacLeod has a wealth of experience in business development, sales, and strategy. Starting in 2015, they have been the VP of Business Development at SlateXP, Inc., where they have worked on the LearnSafe platform which identifies at-risk behavior to ensure responsible K12 computer use. From 2013 to 2015, they were at HoldFast, LLC, where they provided early-stage research, business/market development, sales/sales management, and strategy & consulting services. From 2005 to 2013, they were the VP of Sales & Business Development at Revenue Discovery Systems (RDS) (acquired by PRA Group; Nasdaq: PRAA), where they drove sales and business development efforts of public sector-focused compliance and revenue enhancement solutions from a single state market into 10+ states. From 2002 to 2005, they were the Director of eRx Sales at Healthvision (acquired by Quovadx), where they led efforts to assess nationwide applicability and salability of desktop and mobile/wireless e-prescribing applications. From 1999 to 2002, they were the VP of Strategic Partnerships at RDS (outgrowth: Nationtax Online, Inc.), where they joined the management team to start a private equity-funded, Internet start-up. Finally, from 1995 to 1999, they were the VP of Sales and Marketing at VIVA Health, where they were part of the founding team and led the company's commercial sales & marketing efforts.
David MacLeod attended Episcopal High School from 1979 to 1983 and then went on to The University of Alabama, where they earned a BS in Healthcare Administration from 1983 to 1987.
