Gina Anderson

Gina Anderson has a wealth of work experience in the field of instructional design. Gina began their career in 1998 as an Intervention Specialist at Finneytown Local School District. In 2001, they began working at the University of Dayton as an Interim Director for Online Learning, Sr. Instructional Specialist, and Clinical Faculty. That same year, they began working as an Instructional Design Consultant and Adjunct Professor in Higher Education. In 2006, they became a Training eSpecialist at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and in 2007 they were an Instructional Design/Instructional Technologist Consultant at the University of Illinois Global Campus. In 2008, they became the CEO and co-founder of Luma "Brighter Learning", an award-winning instructional design and learning company.

Gina Anderson has a Doctor of Education from Indiana University Bloomington, which they obtained in 2015. Her field of study was Instructional Systems Technology with a minor in Learning Science. Prior to that, they obtained an M.S. in Instructional Design from the University of Dayton in 2001. Gina also obtained a B.S. Education from the University of Dayton in 1998, with a double major in Special Education (K-12) and Elementary Education (1-8). Additionally, they have obtained a Women Business Enterprises (WBE) certification from the State of Indiana in 2015, as well as a Learning, Media, and Technology Certificate from Indiana University Bloomington (Learning Science Department) in 2015.
