Fanis Despotakis

Fanis Despotakis has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Fanis started their career in 1997 as a Technical Support at the Research Committee at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. After that, they worked as a Senior Developer at the Association of Textile Business of North Greece (SEPVE), where they designed and developed the association's website and custom applications. In 1999, they returned to the Research Committee at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, working as a Junior Developer and later as a Senior Developer.

In 2000, Fanis joined inShop S.A. as a Senior Developer. The following year, they started working at DOTSOFT as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and developed complex information systems, web portals, e-commerce, and mobile applications. Fanis also took on project management responsibilities and headed the IT team.

From 2004 to 2018, Fanis served as a Senior Developer at Draxis SA, specializing in environmental software design and development. Fanis worked with Oracle, SQL Server, .NET, and GIS technologies.

In 2010, Fanis worked as a Freelancer IT Consultant before co-founding LearnWorlds in 2012. Fanis currently holds the position of Co-Founder and CTO at LearnWorlds, an e-learning company that offers a white-label SaaS platform for creating personally-branded online schools.

Throughout their career, Fanis has gained expertise in various technologies and has held senior positions that demonstrate their leadership and technical capabilities.

Fanis Despotakis attended the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics.
