João Alves

João Alves currently serves as the CIO at Leasys Portugal, leading IT integration efforts and overseeing the redesign of ICT architecture since August 2023. Previously, from January 2018 to August 2023, João held the position of Regional CIO for ALD Automotive PAM Hub, managing operations across Portugal, Algeria, and Morocco while developing strategic IT plans and overseeing digital transformation projects. Before this role, João was the IT Director at Société Générale from 2010 to 2018, where key responsibilities included establishing IT structures and managing financial planning. Earlier experience includes serving as IS/IT Manager at CrediAgora IFIC and as a Senior Consultant/Project Manager at Novabase. João holds a Master's degree in Information Systems and Technologies Management from NOVA IMS and a Master in Management and Performance Control from ISCTE Business School.
