Dale Long possesses extensive experience in outdoor ethics and education, serving as a Leave No Trace Master Educator and Master Educator with the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics since August 2005. Long has played a crucial role in training 8,000 adult volunteers in the San Diego Imperial Council BSA to implement Leave No Trace principles, while also serving as a Board Executive member involved in council properties and safety. Long's background includes a dedicated service record as a Rotarian since 1990, earning recognition for selfless community service. A retired professional from State Farm Insurance Agency after 41 years in risk management, Long holds a Chartered Life Underwriter designation from The American College of Financial Services and a BA in Management and Economics from Cal State Fullerton.
